Guardians
In case something happens that makes you unable to manage your account and transfer your Stories to family, your designated Guardian will take over the responsibility of transferring your Stories. Wishlife support is also always available to Guardians to offer support and information.
You can set up your Guardians under “Account Settings”. You will need the Guardian’s email address to complete the setup.
Yes, you can select one or multiple Guardians for your account.
No, having a Guardian is not mandatory, however we strongly advise it. The Guardian feature insures that your Vaults will be transferred. You will protect yourself by using this feature.
No. A Guardian has the ability to give your Vaults to the intended recipients (those that you name as beneficiaries for each Vault). The Guardian cannot view or edit any of the items within each Vault.
Yes, you can remove Guardians and add additional Guardians as needed.
Yes. When you choose a Guardian, that individual will receive an email asking them to accept the role of Guardian and explain to them what this role may entail. They will have to select the ‘accept’ option. The process of accepting the role is straightforward and the Guardian will receive guidance throughout the process.
